As part of the advanced training series “Pneumological Thoracic Surgery Colloquia”, important and current aspects and innovations from the field of thoracic surgery and pneumology are presented and discussed in a compact and interdisciplinary form during the three annual events.
The events are held as face-to-face conferences with live streaming.
Participation in these events is accredited with 4 DFP each by the Medical Chamber of Vienna.

- Introducing the Vienna Emphysema Board | 4.3.2025
The first event in 2025 is dedicated to emphysema – a common and heterogeneous disease that can lead to severe and unstable disease progression and therefore always presents a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Exciting cases from the first Vienna Emphysema Board will be presented at this event.
